Travis Scott's Cactus Jack is dropping into the annual Abloh Invitational, becoming the "presenting partner" of the event's 2024 iteration. Notably, the 2024 Abloh Invitational will be the first to be sponsored by pioneering streetwear brand Supreme.

"Cactus Jack’s cultural influence will be on full display" at the 2024 Abloh Invitational, according to a press release seen by Highsnobiety. "The brand will shape the experience with custom-designed skate obstacles and exclusive co-branded merchandise."

The release also specified that inimitable skate label Supreme will be an "additional supporting sponsor."

Overseen by Virgil Abloh Securities, the creative outlet founded by Abloh and directed by the late designer's widow, and Architecture, a separate art and design venture also created by Abloh, the Abloh Invitational is an annual skateboarding-focused event that began in 2022, the year after Abloh's sudden passing at age 41.

"To be able to give back to the community through an activity that heavily influenced Virgil in his creative endeavors is an immense privilege," Shannon Abloh said in a statement. "We hope to continue doing this for years to come and are eagerly anticipating the skating world’s return to the Lot 11 park.”

The 2024 Abloh Invitational will return to the Lot 11 skate park in Miami on December 7, the same venue that the event began at three years prior. Nike was a partner of last year's Virgil Abloh Invitational, which was also held in Miami.

At the 2024 edition, expect "free skate lessons, screenprinting workshops," and a high-profile showcase from some of America's top skaters, leading into an open skate for all.

Also present will be famed skate photographer Atiba Jefferson, who has lensed the three prior Abloh Invitationals and is Architecture's "skate director"; industrial designer Jonathan Olivares, who only last year debuted a "Skateboard" exhibit at the London Design Museum; and Davonte Jolly, the event's official videographer.
